Michael Freeman (Exercise Physiologist)

Michael is the founder of Freeman Exercise Physiology, and started the business in 2021 to meet a gap in the demand for mobile and virtual health services.
Michael studied in his hometown at the University of Auckland from 2009 to 2014, completing a Bachelor of Science (double major in Sport & Exercise Science and Psychology), Postgraduate Diploma in Science with Distinction (Cardiac Rehabilitation), and Master of Science with Honours (Clinical Exercise Physiology). After graduating, he immediately relocated to Australia to accept his first job offer as an Exercise Physiologist.
Michael has developed his skills within a variety of organisational settings, including hospitals, community health centres, private allied health clinics, medical centres, and gyms. He has taken on specialty roles with a variety of clinical populations during this time, including cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, metabolic, orthopaedic, disability, geriatric, paediatric, and mental health. Michael is also a former semi-professional soccer player, and likes to combine his unique experiences in both the clinical and sporting domains to create impactful treatment interventions for his clients. He is a big advocate for evidence-based practice, health coaching, and a holistic approach towards health and wellness.
Isaiah Joseph (Exercise Physiologist)

Isaiah is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with a strong passion for supporting individuals living with disability, chronic health conditions and age related functional decline to improve their independence and quality of life.
He completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science at Deakin University and a Master of Clinical Exercise Science and Rehabilitation at Victoria University.
Isaiah delivers tailored, evidence-based exercise programs focused on improving strength, mobility, balance, and independence. He supports clients to manage chronic conditions, reduce falls risk and enhance daily function through safe, progressive movement.
With a strong background in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, Isaiah is known for his person-centred approach and ability to build rapport while helping clients achieve meaningful health goals for each individual.
Alan Pham (Exercise Physiologist)

Alan joined our team in 2025, and has a passion for providing holistic patient-centred care. He endeavours to help his clients optimise their mobility and daily activities through movement-based therapy.
Alan completed a Bachelor of Science at Melbourne University in 2015, and then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Masters of Exercise Physiology at Latrobe University in 2019.
Throughout his career to date, Alan has worked extensively with elderly populations, NDIS participants, and individuals with Support at Home Packages. His interventions have helped clients to safely reach their personal goals, whether it be through better management of chronic conditions, rehabilitation, or enhancement in overall physical function. Alan genuinely cares about the health and wellbeing of his clients, and specialises in tailoring his exercise interventions to target a wide range of specific treatment goals.
Natasha Otten (Occupational Therapist)

Natasha is a dedicated Occupational Therapist with over 11 years of experience, focusing on community-based practice. She earned her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from Monash University in 2012, and began her career at Monash Health in 2014. Since then, Natasha has been committed to delivering holistic, person-centred care in the community setting.
Natasha’s professional strengths include conducting thorough assessments and providing individualised recommendations for equipment and home modifications. These interventions aim to support client safety, boost independence, and improve everyday quality of life for individuals with diverse needs and abilities.
Outside of work, Natasha is a mother of two young children. She loves spending time with her family, watching the footy, and keeping active.
Shadrach Sumaru (Physiotherapist)

Graduating in 2009, Shad has previously worked in various Physiotherapist roles within the private practice, aged care and public health sectors.
Shad is highly experienced in managing a range of chronic health conditions and challenges, including but not limited to osteoarthritis, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, balance impairments and age-related functional decline.
Shad has a special interest in working with musculoskeletal conditions, especially relating to the shoulders and knees, and can additionally offer massage and dry needling to aid with treatment.
Shad believes in an active approach towards treatment, and usually combines manual therapy, exercise and education to enable his clients to achieve optimal outcomes.
When not at work, Shad enjoys exploring the Mornington Peninsula, mountain biking and travelling.
